Students who receive a holistic education that prepares them to be excellent readers and thinkers will be well prepared. Any preparation that seeks to strengthen academic weaknesses is often advantageous across all educational settings, including standardized exams. Students who read and think well and have the ability to apply knowledge learned in mathematics should perform well on the CLT.

Discussing and summarizing their reading will help students improve in reading comprehension, which is a key skill for the CLT.
