What is Remote Proctoring?
Learn more about the Remotely Proctored CLT
The Remotely Proctored CLT is a version of the CLT that students take at home with their own computers. The exam is recorded and reviewed by CLT staff. Due to the nature of the platform and our commitment to ensuring test integrity, familiarity with the test’s rules and requirements is critical to ensuring you have the best possible testing experience. Please note: the CLT10 (for 9th and 10th graders) and the CLT8 (for 7th and 8th graders) are not Remotely Proctored tests. These tests are proctored by a student's parent or another adult over the age of 21.
We proctor students after the exam by watching video, screen, audio, and keystroke recordings of their exams. The exam is not proctored live. We provide live chat and phone support for students so that they can receive assistance on technical questions or problems they experience during the exam, but our Test Support Assistants are not proctors.
