Which test should I take?
Are you looking to take one of our tests but not sure which one is right for you?
The CLT is our flagship assessment and it is meant for students in 11th and 12th grade who are preparing to enter college. The CLT is accepted as an alternative to the SAT and ACT by over 200 colleges and universities worldwide. Students who are returning to higher education after one or more gap years are also a good fit for this exam.
The CLT10 is meant for students in 9th and 10th grade. It is an alternative to the PSAT and the ACT Aspire. 10th grade students who take the test may be eligible for our CLT10 Student Awards, one of which is attached to a $2500 scholarship usable upon matriculating at one of CLT's many partner colleges.
The CLT8 is for students in 7th and 8th grade. It serves as an end-of-year assessment that helps parents and schools gauge their student's academic preparedness as they look towards high school.
